College Scholarships

The Clarence J. Rosecrans Scholarship, part of the APF's COGDOP Graduate Student Scholarships, provides $2,000 to $2,500 for graduate psychology research. As one of the 21 scholarships awarded yearly, it helps with masters or doctoral research expenses.

The Morgan L. Fitch Scholarship was founded in memory of Morgan L. Fitch, a notable leader in the real estate industry. It is available to students attending the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, preferably within the College of Commerce and Business Administration or the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

Offered by APF, the Charles and Carol Spielberger Scholarship grants $5,000 to support graduate students in psychology related to their thesis/dissertation research. The aim is to provide financial support to mitigate research costs and is available for students of diverse backgrounds.

The Fund for Latino Scholarship aims to support the recruitment, retention, and advancement of political science students and scholars studying and conducting research on Latina/opolitics. It provides grants for undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and research projects aligning with the Fund's goals. The initiative encourages professional development and financial aid for scholars focused on Latina/o politics, boosting teaching, research, and publishing within the field.

The Electronics Division of The American Ceramic Society offers the Lewis C. Hoffman Scholarship to promote academic excellence in ceramics/materials science and engineering. The scholarship awards $2000 to an undergraduate student, who must be a junior or senior with at least 80 semester credits by application time and a full-time student when awarded in October. The selection criteria include GPA, standardized test scores, faculty recommendation, extracurricular involvement, and a 500-word essay on materials for electronic devices advancing beyond Moore's law.

The Bruce and Marjorie Sundlun Scholarship is granted by the Rhode Island Foundation to support single parents who are Rhode Island residents. The scholarship prioritizes individuals who have previously received state aid or have a history of incarceration. It aims to support those pursuing college or certificate-level studies and encourages past recipients to reapply.

The ASHFoundation offers up to three Minority Student Scholarships of $5,000 each, for students who are members of a racial or ethnic minority group and are U.S. citizens. This scholarship is designed to support graduate students in the field of communication sciences and disorders.

The Daniel L. Goodwin Scholarship is designed for past and active members of the Boys and Girls Club of Illinois who have received the Youth of the Year Award and are pursuing higher education in any field.
