$1,000 (No Essay) Tuition Covered Scholarship

Sponsor: Tuition Covered, LLC, 16192 Coastal Highway, Lewes, DE 19958 (“Sponsor”).

Entry Periods: A separate random drawing will be conducted for each Entry Period as set forth in the “ENTRY PERIODS AND DEADLINES” section below. Each Entry Period begins at 12:00 AM Eastern Time (ET) on the applicable start date and ends at 11:59 PM ET on the applicable end date. Each Entry Period is independent, and entries do not carry over to subsequent Entry Periods.

By submitting an entry, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to this Scholarship Promotion.

This scholarship is awarded through a random drawing as described in these Official Rules.

NO PURCHASE, PAYMENT, OR FEE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

  • Purpose : To support and celebrate the educational goals of students pursuing higher education in the U.S. by awarding a no-essay scholarship during each Entry Period through a random drawing. This program is designed to be accessible to all eligible students, regardless of major, GPA or essay-writing skills. This scholarship is not merit-based. Applications are not evaluated, scored, or judged. The recipient is selected solely by random drawing from eligible entries received during the applicable Entry Period.
  • Scholarship Award : One (1) $1,000 scholarship award (the “Award”) will be provided each Entry Period. The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the Award is $1,000. The Award will be fulfilled via a VisaÂź Gift Card or Amazon eGift Card, at Sponsor’s discretion.
  • Eligibility : Open to eligible individuals as set forth in the Eligibility section below.
  • Entry Limit : Limit one (1) base entry per person per Entry Period, regardless of the number of Entry Pages visited, forms completed, or Promotional Variations accessed. Attempts to obtain multiple base entries by submitting multiple forms, using multiple email addresses, identities, or devices may result in disqualification at Sponsor’s discretion. Bonus activity (defined below) may allow each entrant to acquire additional entries.
  • Selection Process : One (1) potential winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the applicable Entry Period. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. See “winner selection process” below for more details.
  • Notification : Winners will be notified via email provided in entry submission and listed on the Sponsor’s website.

PROMOTIONAL VARIANTS

The Scholarship Promotion may be advertised or presented under different promotional titles, headlines, themes, or creative variations (each, a “Promotional Variation”), including but not limited to references to specific majors, level of study, GPA, geographic regions, academic interests, or other student characteristics.

All Promotional Variations refer to the same underlying Scholarship Promotion, Entry Periods, and random drawing unless expressly stated otherwise for a specific Entry Period.

Use of different promotional titles does not create a separate Scholarship Promotion, separate Entry Period, separate random drawing, or separate Scholarship Award.

ELIGIBILITY

The scholarship promotion is open only to:

  • Residency : Legal U.S. residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia and any US Territory.
  • Age : Individuals must be 18 years or older at time of application.
  • Education Status : Those who enter must meet one of the following at the time of entry:
    1. Currently enrolled (full-time or part-time) in an accredited U.S. post-secondary degree program pursuing any higher education degree (e.g., associate, bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral).
    2. A high school senior accepted to an accredited U.S. post-secondary institution, who is already enrolled or intending to enroll in a degree program within 12 months of graduation.
    3. An individual, not currently enrolled, but planning to enroll in an accredited U.S. post-secondary degree program within 12 months.
  • Exclusions : Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising/promotion agencies, and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, children) or household members are ineligible.

Legal Compliance : All federal, state, and local laws apply. This Scholarship Promotion is governed by the laws of Delaware, United States, and any disputes must be resolved in federal or state courts in Wilmington, Delaware.

ENTRY PERIODS AND DEADLINES

Each Entry Period begins at 12:00 AM ET on the applicable start date and ends at 11:59 PM ET on the applicable end date (as defined in the “ENTRY PERIODS AND DEADLINES” section below). Each Entry Period is independent, and entries do not carry over to subsequent Entry Periods. Below are details regarding the schedule of Entry Periods, as well as the estimated selection and notification dates for the selected recipient.

Entries must be received and verified within the date and time listed for each Entry Period. Entrants are subject to and consent to all notices posted online, including but not limited to the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy.

Sponsor reserves the right to modify, adjust, or discontinue future Entry Periods, including entry dates, bonus entry opportunities, and administrative details, provided that any such changes will apply only to Entry Periods that have not yet opened and will not affect the terms, eligibility, odds, or Scholarship Award offered for any Entry Period already in progress. Any changes to future Entry Periods will be posted on the official scholarship page prior to the start of the applicable Entry Period.

HOW TO APPLY

  1. Online entry only
  2. Go to any authorized scholarship entry page made available by Sponsor (each, an “Entry Page”), including but not limited to: https://tuitioncovered.com/scholarships/tc/1k
  3. Submit and complete the entry form including all required fields/questions - Ex: full name, contact email, and requested demographic/academic information.
  4. Verify your entry via confirmation email delivered to your email provided.
  5. Bonus entry opportunities: See full “Eligible Bonus Activities” section below
  6. Limit : Minimum one entry per person per Entry Period, but with bonus activity each entrant could acquire multiple entries. Entries do not roll over to subsequent months.
  7. Winner Requirements:
    • Email verification via confirmation email (#3 above)
    • Proof of enrollment, acceptance, or intent to enroll at an accredited U.S. post-secondary institution (e.g., acceptance letter, enrollment verification, or a signed statement of intent to enroll within 12 months).
    • Proof may be requested solely for verification purposes and does not affect eligibility at the time of entry.

Note: Incomplete, illegible, or fraudulent entries will be disqualified. All submitted materials become the property of the Sponsor for purposes of administering this Scholarship Promotion and related promotional uses as permitted by law.

ENTRY PAGE VARIATIONS

Sponsor may provide access to the Scholarship Promotion through multiple URLs, landing pages, form versions, marketing funnels, subdomains, or promotional microsites (collectively, “Entry Pages”).

All Entry Pages connect to the same Scholarship Promotion and Entry Period drawing unless expressly stated otherwise.

Submission through any authorized Entry Page constitutes entry into the same Entry Period and is subject to these Official Rules.

Use of multiple Entry Pages does not increase the one (1) entry per person per Entry Period limit.

BONUS ENTRY OPPORTUNITIES (varies monthly, and per entry period)

Entrants may earn additional entries by completing optional, free bonus activities during the applicable Entry Period.

Bonus Activities – Control, Examples & Availability

Bonus entry activities, entry amounts, and limits may vary by Entry Period and are offered only if and as presented on the official application page during that Entry Period. The bonus activities listed below are illustrative examples only and may not be available in every Entry Period. Bonus entries are awarded solely for activities made available on the application page and completed in accordance with the instructions in effect at the time the activity is completed.

Bonus Activities – Changes (Current & Future Periods)

Sponsor reserves the right to add, modify, clarify, limit, or discontinue bonus entry activities at any time, including during an Entry Period. Any such changes will apply prospectively only and will not reduce, revoke, or otherwise affect bonus entries already earned prior to the effective time of the change.

Bonus entries will be awarded only for activities that are displayed on the official application page at the time the activity is completed.

Sponsor does not guarantee that any bonus entry opportunity will be offered during a particular Entry Period.

Bonus Entry Rules

  • Free and Optional: Bonus activities are optional and do not affect eligibility for the single main entry.
  • Entry Period Window: Bonus activities must be completed during the same Entry Period as the related application submission.
  • Verification: Sponsor reserves the right to verify completion of bonus activities by reviewing activity and entry records, which may include, but are not limited to, confirmation of completed activities and review of submitted responses. Sponsor’s determinations are final and binding.
  • No Purchase Necessary: Participation in bonus activities does not require any fee or purchase.
  • No Carryover: Bonus entries apply only to the Entry Period in which they are earned and may not be carried over.
  • Sponsor’s determinations will be made in a manner consistent with the intent of this Scholarship Promotion and applied uniformly to similarly situated entrants.
  • Maximum Bonus Entries: The maximum number of bonus entries permitted per entrant per Entry Period will be stated on the application page (e.g., “Max 10 total bonus entries per entrant per period”).
    • Monthly bonus criteria may vary and may not always reach the maximum.
    • Some Entry Periods may not include bonus entry opportunities.

Notice of Changes

Any updates to bonus entry activities will be reflected on the official application page. Continued participation after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated bonus entry terms for activities completed after such change.

WINNER SELECTION PROCESS

  • Random Drawing: Potential recipient(s) will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the applicable Entry Period. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. All eligible entries, regardless of headline submission or other information, have an equal chance in the random drawing.
  • We will pull all eligible submissions post each period end date (see entry period details table above)
  • All eligible entries received across all Promotional Variations and Entry Pages for the applicable Entry Period will be combined into a single entry pool for that Entry Period’s random drawing.
  • Bonus entries will be considered in the entry period's random drawing. If eligible entrants accomplished bonus activity within that period, those activities will be accounted for in the period's entrant file. Providing additional details does not impact winner selection beyond increasing the number of entries for a participant.

WINNER NOTIFICATION & VERIFICATION

  • Potential winner recipient(s) will be notified via email within ~7 business days of selection. Please note that the selection date is not the same as the period end date.
  • Failure to comply or return of notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification, and an alternate recipient will be selected.
  • The selected recipient must sign and return an Eligibility Affidavit, Release of Liability, Publicity Release, and a completed IRS Form W-9 within seven (7) business days of notification. Failure to timely return required documentation may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
  • Proof of enrollment, acceptance, or intent to enroll at an accredited U.S. post-secondary institution (e.g., acceptance letter, enrollment verification, or a signed statement of intent to enroll within 12 months).The scholarship award will be paid within 30 days of verification.
  • The Sponsor reserves the right to verify all entry information, including enrollment status or intent to enroll. Entrants may be required to provide additional documentation, such as transcripts or enrollment plans.
  • In the event that a potential recipient is disqualified from this Scholarship Promotion or otherwise does not accept the award, the Sponsor may select an alternate recipient.

SCHOLARSHIP AWARD DETAILS AND FULFILLMENT

  • Award : One (1) award of $1,000 will be awarded per Entry Period to a potential winner selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received.
  • Winner Limi t: Limit one (1) award per person per calendar year.
  • Fulfillment Method: The award will be delivered electronically to the verified email address of the winner in the form of either a VisaÂź Gift Card, or an Amazon eGift Card, at Sponsor’s sole discretion.
  • Non-Transferable: The award is non-transferable and may not be substituted, assigned, or exchanged for cash, except at Sponsor’s discretion.

TAXES AND WITHHOLDING

  • Taxes: All federal, state, and local taxes and any other costs or expenses associated with acceptance and use of the award are the sole responsibility of the winner.
  • The Award is taxable income. U.S. winners will be required to submit a completed IRS Form W-9 and will receive an IRS Form 1099-MISC for the fair market value of the award. Sponsor does not provide tax advice. Winners are encouraged to consult their own tax advisors regarding the tax consequences of accepting the Award.
  • General: Sponsor does not provide tax advice. Winners are encouraged to consult their own tax advisors regarding the tax implications of accepting the award.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

  • Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, stolen, incomplete, corrupted, or otherwise invalid entries, or for any technical failures of any kind.
  • Sponsor reserves the right to suspend, modify, or cancel the Scholarship Promotion if technical, administrative, or fraud-related issues compromise the integrity or proper functioning of the Scholarship Promotion. In the event the Scholarship Promotion is suspended or discontinued, Sponsor will complete and fulfill any Entry Period already in progress.
  • Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, submits false or misleading information, attempts to manipulate bonus entry opportunities, or otherwise violates the intent or integrity of the Scholarship Promotion.
  • Errors & Ambiguities: Sponsor reserves the right to correct any errors, omissions, or ambiguities in the description, administration, or operation of the Scholarship Promotion or bonus entry opportunities in a manner consistent with the intent of the Scholarship Promotion and fairness to entrants.
  • Sponsor is not responsible for technical, system, or human errors that may occur in the administration of the Scholarship Promotion, including errors related to bonus entry tracking, entry counts, or verification processes.
  • By entering, entrants grant Sponsor the right to use their name, city and state of residence, information provided on entry, image, and submitted headline for advertising, promotional, and marketing purposes, without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.
  • Sponsor reserves the right to interpret and apply bonus entry rules in a manner consistent with fairness and the intent of the Scholarship Promotion.
  • In the event of any inconsistency between these Official Rules and the application page for a specific Entry Period, the application page will control with respect to bonus entry opportunities for that Entry Period.

PRIVACY & DATA USE

  • By entering, entrants agree their information may be collected, stored, and used for:
    • Scholarship Promotion administration,
    • Marketing communications (email, SMS),
    • Research,
    • Data/marketing analytics, and/or
    • Personalization across the digital experience(s)
    • Sharing and commercialization of personal information with affiliates, partners, and third parties for marketing, analytics, and research purposes, as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • By entering, entrants acknowledge and agree that their personal information will be handled in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy ( https://tuitioncovered.com/legal/privacy-policy ).
  • Entrants may opt out of promotional communications by directions via privacy policy or leveraging the unsubscribe functionality within all email communications.

Consent to receive marketing communications is not required to enter or to be selected as the scholarship recipient.

ANY PERSON, WHETHER OR NOT A PARTICIPANT, WHO DAMAGES, TAMPERS WITH, OR OTHERWISE INTERFERES WITH THIS WEBSITE OR THE OPERATION OF THIS SCHOLARSHIP PROMOTION MAY BE VIOLATING CIVIL AND CRIMINAL LAW, AND THE SPONSOR MAY SEEK DAMAGES AND OTHER AVAILABLE REMEDIES TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW.

DISPUTES

  • All disputes shall be resolved individually, without resort to class action.
  • Any and all claims will be limited to actual out-of-pocket expenses incurred, not including attorneys’ fees.
  • No punitive, incidental, or consequential damages may be awarded.
