The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) and Verisk offer financial assistance to outstanding students attending TMCF’s member schools, which include 57 publicly-supported historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs), historically Black community colleges (HBCCs), predominantly Black institutions (PBIs), medical and law schools. Four scholars will be selected to receive a scholarship of $10,625 for the 2026-2027 academic year. The scholarship amount will be allocated in two installments: one during the fall 2026 semester and the second during the spring 2027 semester, applicable to verifiable costs associated with average tuition and usual fees.

Majoring in one of the following STEM related majors: Business, Data science, Actuarial science, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Cyber security, Software engineering, Computer/systems engineering, Computer science, Marketing, Programming
Current cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher
Be able to demonstrate a financial need
Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident with a valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551
