The AACAP Jeanne Spurlock, MD, Research Fellowship in Substance Use Disorders offers a unique opportunity for medical students to explore research training with a focused emphasis on substance use disorders in relation to child and adolescent psychiatry, gain valuable work experience, as well as receive mentorship and meet leaders in the field. The fellowship provides up to $4,000 for 12 weeks of summer research under a child and adolescent psychiatrist researcher/mentor, and coverage for required attendance to the AACAP 2026 Annual Meeting.
