Eligibility Requirements

Original Requirements

Have earned a degree or certificate from UMGC, conferred prior to January 1, 2026, with a GPA of 2.0 or higher
Meet the admissions requirements of UMGC
Start your first course in a stateside master's degree program between January 7, 2026 and March 11, 2026 (graduate certificates and doctoral programs are excluded)
Government and their family members residing within an overseas contracted site in Europe, in Asia, or downrange are eligible if they meet the other scholarship eligibility criteria and start the first course for a master’s degree offered by UMGC stateside between January 7, 2026 and March 11, 2026
