The Asia Library Travel Grant aims to assist scholars of China, Japan, and Korea at other institutions by defraying costs associated with travel, lodging, meals, and photo-duplication, enabling them to utilize the unparalleled resources of the University of Michigan (U-M) Asia Library. Its extensive collection contains over 1 million volumes in Chinese, Japanese, and Korean languages, covering humanities and social sciences with exceptional strength in history, philosophy, literature, and film studies. The Library also provides extensive electronic resources, including full-text journals, e-books, and specialized databases.
