Students enrolled in Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering Technology/General Engineering with an emphasis in Mechanical Engineering or closely related discipline at a Community College, a 2-Year Technical College or Associate Degree program
Students can apply in the first semester in their second year for the following academic year
Students transferring from a 2-year institution to a 4-year University/College must be planning to enroll in Mechanical Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering Technology program or a closely related discipline
Students can be enrolled part-time
Enrolled in a regionally accredited institution by CHEA or ABET
For international students, the ASME Student Section must be active in the local region
International students must be enrolled full-time
Enrollment in an ABET or Regionally/Nationally accredited program
Must be a current ASME student member in good standing
