Berman/Topper HD Career Development Fellowship

The Berman-Topper Family HD Career Development Fellowship supports early-career scientists in the Huntington’s disease research community. It provides stability, protected time, and credibility at a critical stage in their careers. The fellowship has supported fourteen fellows across nine cohorts, focusing on areas such as genetic modifiers, huntingtin protein structure, biomarker development, therapeutic strategies, stem cell models, advanced imaging, and population health. The program is currently paused for new awards while the HDSA evaluates its outcomes and refines its research strategy.
