This award is given to the student, practitioner or faculty member who is the sole or primary author on the paper. The awardee will receive a check for $1,500. The awardee and runner up will receive complimentary registration for the AAG annual meeting and will be invited to present their research in a session highlighting geography and entrepreneurship during the conference.

The best paper will be selected based on importance of the topic to the study of geography and entrepreneurship, contribution to the existing literature, and relevance to the practice.
Original papers are encouraged but published work can be submitted.
One entry per primary author is permitted.
Applicants worldwide are welcome to apply, but all materials must be submitted in English.
