Binghamton University Scholarships

Binghamton University offers scholarships to prospective and current students based on various criteria such as academic merit, donor preference, major, program participation, and financial need. Most scholarships are awarded in the spring for the following aid year and do not require an additional application. Scholarships are included as part of the financial aid award package, which cannot exceed the budgeted cost of attendance. A student's financial need can be an eligibility requirement for some scholarships, and it is recommended to submit the FAFSA by January 1. Current students are automatically reviewed for scholarship eligibility if they maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and have a current FAFSA on file by March 1 for the 2026-27 academic year.
