Brede-Wilkins Scholarship Endowment Fund

The Brede-Wilkins Scholarship Endowment Fund (BWS) at Central Florida Foundation is designed to support high-school students working as servers in the Village on the Green (VOTG) dining room. The scholarship aims to foster a family-like environment within the retirement community and support the educational aspirations of its young workers. The fund has awarded almost 2,000 scholarships totaling $3.8 million over thirty-plus years. In the past year, it awarded $94,500 in scholarships to VOTG high school team members.
