Transfer Students are not eligible for academic scholarships awarded by the BYU Financial Aid Office upon initial entrance at BYU. However, Transfer Students can apply for academic scholarships as Continuing Students after completing at least one full enrollment (12 credit hours) at BYU by the appropriate February 1 application deadline. There are a few university and departmental scholarships that Transfer Students may receive consideration. To be considered, include your major on your admissions application. For fall semester applicants, you must submit the scholarship application by the February 1 deadline and the FAFSA by the corresponding January 20 deadline. For winter applicants, you must submit the scholarship application by August 1 and the FAFSA by July 20.
