The Carolyn Balsa Hancock Memorial Scholarship Fund was established by family and friends in honor of Carolyn Hancock, an educator and dedicated counselor who was always willing to work with the students facing the most difficult challenges. A native of San José, California, Mrs. Hancock worked for the East Side Union High School District where she developed programs that helped disabled students obtain and retain jobs. The scholarship is for Special Education senior(s) at East Side Union High School District for vocational or academic training.
