Open to postgraduate students who have completed or are currently studying towards an Honours degree

Or completed a four-year undergraduate degree

Must be in the final year of an Honours degree or a four-year undergraduate degree

Applicants should have attained, or aim to achieve, undergraduate or Honours degree(s) cum laude or summa cum laude

Have achieved Dean’s Commendations and Certificates of Merit or equivalent

Have a good track record in extracurricular activities

Be under the age of 27 at the time of applying

Must have completed a major part of their secondary schooling in KwaZulu-Natal

Candidates expected to demonstrate potential to make a significant impact in their field and for South Africa

Under the age of 27 at the time of applying

Must be in final year of a postgraduate honours degree or a four‑year undergraduate degree

Attained or aim to achieve undergraduate or Honours degree(s) of the highest academic standard

Dean's Commendations or Certificates of Merit (or equivalent)

Evidence of focus, commitment, stamina and leadership

Good track record in extracurricular activities

Drive to succeed and uplift South Africa

For postgraduate study (Masters degree or PhD) in the United Kingdom
