Currently enrolled, or enrolled in the past year, in a community college to obtain an associate degree, certificate, or in a four-year college transfer program
Students who already have an associate degree and are planning to transfer to a four-year college are eligible
Applicants must already be accepted into an accredited nonprofit school/program before applying
Resident of Alameda County, San Francisco County, San Mateo County, Santa Clara County, or Santa Cruz County (preference given to applicants residing in Oakland, San Francisco, East Palo Alto, San Jose, and Watsonville)
Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale and in good academic standing
Demonstrated academic promise, goal orientation, and commitment to completing a degree program
Scholarship funds must be used for the 'Self-Help' portion of Financial Aid
Renewable based on good academic standing
