Have the 2026-2027 FAFSA on file at your selected university/college by the time of selection

Must be able to demonstrate financial need

Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident with a valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551

Must have received a certification number after submitting an application approved by DTRF

Confirm you are a lineal descendant (certified descendant) via the DTRF website
