Established in 2020 by NMF alumna Dr. Felecia Williams in memory of her parents, Mrs. Dorothy Williams and Mr. Willie James Williams, this need-based $5,000 scholarship is awarded to a medical student who meets the following eligibility criteria: 1) originally from Detroit, Michigan, 2) first in their family to go to college, 3) enrolled in an accredited U.S. medical school for the coming academic year, 4) has documented financial need, and 5) has demonstrated an interest in pediatrics. This scholarship may be renewed provided that the student remains in good academic standing.
