Francis Burnham Vocational Scholarships

In honor of Alan’s father, Francis “Buzz” Burnham, Livermore residents Alan and Mary Burnham are funding multiple Francis Burnham Vocational Scholarships. Buzz was a longtime vocational training advocate. He taught industrial arts, vocational training and adult education and was active in the Iowa Vocational Industrial Clubs or America, now SkillsUSA. The scholarships aim to support students who do not relate to the traditional academic program and help them learn the skills needed for productive and rewarding careers.
