New students or returning graduates pursuing an eligible degree program (Bachelor's or Master's)

Must be provisionally accepted as a WGU student (apply for admission before applying for scholarships)

Must complete the scholarship application within the allowed window (90 days before and up to 30 days after degree start date)

Complete current aid-year FAFSA if eligible to submit the FAFSA (if eligible for federal aid)

Must read and agree to the WGU Student Handbook and the WGU Scholarship Terms and Conditions before monies are distributed

Must meet the university's On Time Progress requirements to maintain scholarship eligibility

WGU employees and family members eligible for the WGU employee discount are not eligible for WGU scholarships

Each student can only be awarded one WGU-funded or -administered scholarship during their degree program
