About this scholarship

Supports an individual scholarly project related to Aegean Bronze Age Archaeology conducted between July 1 of the award year and the following June 30. Preference for projects requiring travel to the Mediterranean. Funds may not be used for institutional overhead, administrative recovery, or indirect costs. Fellowship recipient must submit a report at the conclusion of the tenure.

Project must be conducted between July 1 of the award year and the following June 30

Preference given to projects that require travel to the Mediterranean

Fellowship funds may not be used for institutional overhead, institutional administrative recovery costs, or institutional indirect costs

Applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of the United States or Canada, or be actively pursuing an advanced degree at a North American college or university

Applicants must be current AIA members at the Graduate or Professional level

Previous Pomerance Fellows are not eligible

Recipient must submit a report on the use of the stipend to the Chair of the AIA Fellowships Committee at the conclusion of the fellowship tenure
