About this scholarship

The Highlands Country Club Scholarship Fund is available to individuals between the ages of 16 and 25 who have received or are expecting to receive a high school degree or its equivalent. Applicants must have worked a minimum of two complete seasons at Highlands Country Club located in Highlands, NC, or be children of an employee of Highlands Country Club who has worked a minimum of two complete seasons at the Club. They must be enrolled full-time in undergraduate studies at a two-year or four-year accredited community college, college or university, and have a minimum 2.5 GPA. Recipients will be chosen on the basis of academic achievement, school and community activities, motivation and leadership. Financial need may also be taken into consideration, especially in the event a tie-breaker is needed.
