IBC Foundation Healthcare Scholars Pipeline Program

The College of Public Health’s Department of Nursing, in partnership with the Independence Blue Cross Foundation, is collaborating with area high schools to implement a bundle of evidence-based strategies to prepare students from underrepresented populations and disadvantaged backgrounds for success in nursing education at Temple University. As part of this partnership, the Independence Blue Cross Foundation will provide full cost-of-attendance scholarships, for tuition and educational expenses, to talented students enrolled full time in Temple’s BSN program. Candidates for these scholarships will be from partner high schools in neighborhoods surrounding Temple University.
