Awarded to traditional freshman, transfer, and degree-completion students who have demonstrated exceptional ability to overcome adversity. Annual award range: $1,500–$3,000. No GPA or test-score requirement. Scholarship is renewable for up to four years. Applicants complete the university initial application; after acceptance an admissions counselor will invite them to complete the Ish Smith Overcomer Scholarship registration.
