The Jandos Scholarship program is open to all College of Science students who wish to participate with other students to assist in creating and fostering a strong sense of belonging and community across our science environment. Preference in selection will be given to students pursuing an undergraduate degree in Biology and/or involved in the Women In Science Program. Scholarship recipients must agree to engage in program requirements to maintain their scholarship. The Jandos Scholarship is a one-year scholarship award and is not renewable.

Classified as a semester 2 – 6 during the Spring 2026 semester
Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
Actively participate in monthly Student Success meetings/events
Actively participate in monthly Women In Science Program (WISP) events, while serving as an engaged WISP mentor for the 2026-27 academic year
Intentionally help to promote a sense of belonging and community within the College of Science
