Eligibility requirements

U.S. citizen or national

Undergraduate student in good standing at an accredited U.S. institution (two-year or four-year)

Dependent (child or spouse) of active or activated United States military personnel during the time of application

Recipient of any type of Title IV federal financial aid during the time of application or provide proof that they will receive Title IV federal financial aid during the study abroad program or internship

In the process of applying to, or accepted to, a credit-bearing study abroad or internship program (proof of acceptance required prior to award disbursement)

Program must be located in a country or location with an overall U.S. Department of State Travel Advisory Level 1 or 2 (applicants may not participate in areas designated Level 3 or Level 4)
