Enrolled in 6+ credit hours in a qualified (Promise-eligible) program
Have graduated from a Kansas public or private high school (or equivalent) within the last 12 months (one qualifying option)
Have been a Kansas resident for the preceding three consecutive years (one qualifying option)
Be a dependent child of a military servicemember who is stationed in another state and, within the preceding 12 months, have graduated from an out-of-state high school (one qualifying option)
Have been in the custody of the secretary of children and families while enrolled in grades 9-12 AND not be eligible for assistance under the Kansas Foster Child Educational Assistance Act (one qualifying option)
Household income must meet defined program requirements
Must be an accepted student at Johnson County Community College (complete JCCC Application for Admission)
Must complete the FAFSA
Must complete the JCCC Scholarship Application through the JCCC Scholarship Portal
Meet with a JCCC Financial Aid Coordinator to finalize paperwork
