Karen Mashburn Environmental Scholars Program

The Karen Mashburn Environmental Scholars Program was established in memory of Karen Mashburn, a dedicated environmental advocate and long-tenured member of the Friends of the Everglades Board of Directors. The program supports students passionate about environmental education, wildlife conservation, and natural history. It offers scholarships and internships to students who demonstrate a commitment to preserving the Everglades and engaging in environmental advocacy.
