The Louis I. Katzner Graduate Student Teaching Awards are funded by an endowment from Louis and Linda Katzner to appreciate and encourage the teaching done by graduate students within the department. Two annual awards are given: one for outstanding work as a Teaching Assistant in a class taught by a full-time faculty member, and the other for outstanding work as an independent instructor of their own class.
