Earned at least a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) by the start of the Luce Scholars orientation in late June
Applicants who have spent a total of six consecutive months or more than one cumulative year within the past five years in only one Luce placement country may apply but will not be placed in that country
Applicants who have spent a total of six consecutive months or more than one cumulative year within the past five years in more than one Luce placement country are not eligible
Available to commit to the full 13-month program (orientation in late June through the following July)
Attendance at Finalist Weekend is required for all applicants selected as finalists
Provide exactly two letters of recommendation: one professional (required); the second may be professional or academic (two academic letters are not accepted)
