In odd years, the scholarship honors Mariann, requiring applicants to be graduating seniors from Findlay High School, pursuing a degree in Education, with a 3.0 GPA or above, participation in arts, debate, or theatre, and community service. Financial need is required, and preference may be given to Girl Scouts or Eagle Scouts. In even years, the scholarship honors Charles, requiring a 3.5 GPA, participation in sports or music, and community service, with preference for work experience. Financial need is not required. The scholarship is renewable for up to three years, with reapplication required each year.
