Must be mid-career level or higher and have been involved in treating hypertensive patients as a major component of his or her practice experience.
Previous awardees are not eligible to re-apply for the award in subsequent years.
Each recipient of council-sponsored awards is eligible to receive only one council-sponsored award each year per scientific meeting.
Past recipients of the Council on Hypertension Excellence Award in Hypertension Research are not eligible.
