Two scholarships established by the Mo Ibrahim Foundation at SOAS to support future leaders committed to Africa’s development. Each award has a total value of £45,479 (tuition deducted; remainder paid as a maintenance stipend). Applicants must be new admissions for September 2026, hold Overseas fee status, have a minimum 2:1 bachelor’s (or equivalent), and hold an unconditional offer by the time the scholarship panel meets. Preference given to those ordinarily resident in Africa and those with interest in governance/development in Africa.
