About this scholarship

International scholarship for female (including DACA) students accepted/enrolled full-time in a STEM degree program at MPOWER-eligible schools in the U.S. or Canada. Awards three cash prizes (Grand Prize US$5,000; First Runner-Up US$2,000; Second Runner-Up US$1,000). Applicants are selected based on essays, academic/professional record, potential societal impact in STEM, and potential as role models/advocates for women in STEM. Winners must verify eligibility; funds disbursed to winners' schools.

Eligibility requirements

Be at least 18 years of age

Be female

Be accepted at, or enrolled in, a full-time STEM degree program at an MPOWER-eligible school in the U.S. or Canada

Be an international student allowed to legally study in the U.S. or Canada

For study in the U.S.: have a valid visa that permits study in the U.S., or be protected under DACA, or be a U.S. permanent resident (Green Card holder)

For study in Canada: be a Canadian permanent resident or have a valid Canadian study permit

U.S. citizens studying in the U.S. and Canadian citizens studying in Canada are not eligible for this scholarship

Only one entry per scholarship (one entry per Entrant)

Only the actual student may participate; completion of the entry form by any family member or other individual will disqualify the Entry

Employees (and immediate family and household members) of MPOWER, its affiliates, subsidiaries, agents, vendors, or suppliers are not eligible
