Presidential Transfer Award

Presidential Transfer Awards are guaranteed to all admitted, first-time transfer students enrolling full-time at Drake. ABSN students, students enrolling part-time, or students with previous Bachelor's degrees are not eligible. Presidential Transfer Awards range between $24,000-$27,000 per year. First-time undergraduate transfer students applying for admission will automatically be considered for Presidential Transfer Awards. This scholarship is renewable for undergraduate students enrolling in at least 12 credit hours per semester and making satisfactory academic progress. Awards are based on the student’s academic record. It is possible that a Presidential Transfer Scholarship will be funded through a gift from one of Drake's generous benefactors. Recipients are notified if they are honored in this way. The Presidential Transfer Scholarship and Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship cannot be combined. Undergraduate scholarships are available only to students enrolled at the undergraduate level, for up to 4 years total or until a Bachelor's degree is earned (whichever comes first).
