Federal TEACH Grant provides up to $4,000 per year (prorated for part-time and subject to statutory reductions) to students who plan to teach in high-need subject areas at low-income schools in exchange for a four-year teaching service commitment. Recipients must meet citizenship/eligible non-citizen status, GPA/score requirements, major/certification requirements, complete required counseling and sign an Agreement to Serve and Repay; failure to complete the service obligation converts the grant to a loan with interest.

Complete the Agreement to Serve and Repay
Agree to teach full time in an approved high-need subject area at a low-income school for at least four academic years within eight years of finishing your teacher preparation program
