The Santos Family Scholarship, created in memory of Joseph and Joan Santos, seeks to open the door to post-secondary education opportunities for first generation college students who are immigrants or children of immigrants. This program is designed to help students from Brockton High School in Brockton, Massachusetts attend and graduate from post-secondary institutions, including two-year schools and four-year schools. The program serves first-generation college students who have a desire to attain a degree at a school that is affordable to them and graduate with a manageable loan burden.

High school senior of Brockton High School who is applying to attend a two-year school or four-year college full-time in the upcoming school year.
Priority will be given to applicants with a Student Aid Index (SAI) of $15,000 or lower or with a family Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) of under $125,000.
Unmet need of at least $5,000 beyond what is offered in college financial aid and other scholarships, as determined by college financial aid award letter and after considering the student’s expected family contribution.
Applicants must be US Citizens or non-U.S. Citizens who are eligible to apply for the FAFSA.
Applicants must be able to clearly articulate how this scholarship will impact their educational goals and have a drive to meet these goals through further education.
