The undergraduate award is intended for low income students and is intended to alleviate the financial burden of funding undergraduate education in Texas, whether at a 4 year or a 2 year public college. Scholarships may be used for tuition and college-related expenses payable to the college. Funding will be sent directly to the college. Scholarships are awarded for the Fall semester.

Come from a low income household
Maintain a GPA of 3 or above (current college students) or 3.5 (current high school students applying for Freshman year funding)
