The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) and NRG offer financial assistance to outstanding students attending select historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs). Ten scholars will receive a need-based scholarship of up to $10,000 for the 2026-2027 academic year, allocated in two installments for verifiable costs associated with tuition and fees.

Be enrolled full-time as an undergraduate junior or senior at one of the specified HBCUs during the 2026-2027 academic year
Open to designated majors: STEM, Marketing, Communications, Business, Finance, Accounting, Legal
Current cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher
Must have the 2026-2027 FAFSA on file at your selected university/college by the time of selection
Must be able to demonstrate a financial need
Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident with a valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551
