Original Requirements

• Applicants must provide proof that they are graduate students currently working in a biology or related lab.
• Candidates must obtain and submit a letter of recommendation from his or her Principle Investigator or a funding sponsor (must be signed and on letterhead to be accepted).
• Proof of Research Involvement: Submit documentation that confirms your current enrollment as a graduate student (Master's or PhD) actively conducting academic research.
• Research Achievements: Provide a comprehensive overview of your research contributions.
• Impact Statement: Write a 300-word essay detailing how your research has influenced the academic community and its broader impact on society.
• Letters of Recommendation: Provide one letter of recommendation from established academics or researchers who are familiar with your work.
• Academic Excellence: Include your most recent transcript showing a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 on a 4.0 scale.
