The Jeff McClaskey Student Athlete Scholarship was established in 2022 in memory of Jeff McClaskey, a lifelong resident of Montgomery County. It supports student athletes from all three Montgomery County high schools. The scholarship is for one year and not renewable.

Be a graduate in good standing from a public Montgomery County high school by the end of June of the year in which the application is filed
Must have completed a minimum of ten (10) trimesters by the application deadline
Be a resident of Montgomery County, Indiana
Must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
Be accepted into and attend an accredited two-year or four-year public or private college or university
Must have participated in at least two (2) sports during high school career and earned at least one varsity letter
