Out-of-State Merit Scholarship

The Out-of-State Merit Scholarship is available for out-of-state students who apply, are offered admission, and enroll for Fall 2026 at the University of Mary Washington. UMW is a residential college, and students must live on campus to receive the full award. Out-of-state students who wish to live off-campus may submit a waiver form to receive a comparable In-State Commuter scholarship, with approval.
